Spare tire fiberglass enclosure? Any pre-fabs out there?
Are there any companies out there that do a pre-fabricated box to fit the spare tire well? I know that this is a pretty vague question but I'm looking for one for a cts-v. The Car doesn't come with a spare, so I thought this might be a good way to toss a 12" or 15" sundown sa without eating up trunk space.
What would a shop typically charge to have this type of thing done if I were to go that route? I did try to make a box a few years ago but my glassing skills suck. Worst come to worst, I guess I could cut the baffle and try it again though...
Jl does offer a stealthbox with 1 10" that would be easy, but it's $700 and does eat up a little trunk space.
I'm looking for something way better than the stock deck Speaker but don't need to be heard 2 blocks away. I also will be keeping it 1000 watts or less on the amp since I don't want to do much on the electrical outside of a battery.

I'd keep it under 800 watts and typical audio shop rate for building boxes is 65$ an hour....fiberglass build will prolly take 10 or 12 hours minimum....and on a completely stock electrical I'd stay around 600 watts or so....you prolly could build a square box to fit down in there and simply cut a hole for the sub in trunk floor and use a single e12
