Ive been stuck on this for a while already and i dont no whether or not to go completely Crossfire on my system or not. my neighbors all have Crossfire in their cars and they bang pretty hard plus they stand firmly by the brand, but i dont see to many ppl run this brand. ive looked at audioque, fi, & stereo integrity 4 subs. & i looked at alpine, pioneer, mtx, & infinity for componet sets. re is a lil outa my league cuz of price. but they tell to use Crossfire cuz they take names in the SPL lanes, i wuldnt mind sticking my Car in comps either. wat i want from my system is nice hi's to be able to hear symbals (and vocals when they get that high), cuz i listen to lot of metal, nice chunky mid bass so i can hear the guitars chugg away and hear the drum toms, and poundin bass so i can feel the kick drum beat away on my chest, i do listen to rap so i'd also want be able to put jeezy on and have the subs rattle the handles off my car. i wana keep the subs at 500rms each cuz i dont no more than two batteries in my trunk & the compents can be wat ever wattage. i hav a 2 door civic and the trunk space will be gone for all the things that'll be goin in the car, i also want the subs to be 2 12s. help my ppl cuz i dont want any regerts
SI mags from wat i hear r really nice even at 250rms, but i hear its more of a SQ than SPL sub, but can they take a beating? ill check out that other stuff for their components
Checkout the Stereo Integrity section here on ROE. Look for a video from Lloyd. He has 2 Mags on an IA 20.1 in a small red vehicle. I believe he did something like a 151-152 on music with them. They have potential to be loud, but for metal, I think they would suit you well....especially with some nice components such as Rainbow or Focal.
Ive been runnin crossfire amps for about 7 years now (the old CFA white amps) Ive got 2 CFA 402's a CFA-142, and a CFA-302. I pushed out 128db on two ESA (circuit city brand they sold for a few months) subs in a sealed box (3.2 cubes) with the cfa-142 which is only rated like 35rms x2. I also pushed out 137.7 with a CFA-402 on each of my eclipse 10's when I had them. I havent used any of their newer stuff but I love their older amps. The only subs they sell that I would buy are the BMF.. The only downfall is they are a bit pricy but I belive still made in the US.
