that sucks.
I've done that before. i didn't put enough consideration into height. I ended up making it fit with a little pursuasion. I had to cut it back out with a sawzall.

had it happen on my last build. it was a depth issue. the box was to deep to fit into the trunk do the false floor.

I haven't had it that bad. When I built my box for my hatch I made it just big enough that I can't fold my back seat up into the locking position so well, no riders in back lol

yeah, I know the feeling, the box in my stang had to be notched out in the back and I had to 45 the top corners so the trunk lid would close, but I am dumb to spend the time and money (which aint much) to squeeze 4 10s in a notched foxbody.

Will it work if you pretty much glass your trunk? It just might but youd have a perma box for a trunk.

I've done it. I had to take the top off the box to get it in, and then put the top on. It was a 12.7 cuft box external in a trunk car..I was a little ambitious.

I've had to use the old trunk horn (similar to a shoe horn) a couple times. Take the rubber seals off, and kick that bitch it. Just hope you don't have to get it back out!!!!

No doubt! I used a sledge hammer and hit the box in(there was a board on the box to protect it...but I still probably ****ed it up a bit)
