I ran the audio through audicity and saw a peak at 20hz of 9db and at 41hz of 6db.

So yeah, it was low

yeah. thats not a impressive score. In a 95 subarban i can hit 152s with just 2 dd9515s on 6000 watts with a voltage drop to 11's. You should definetly try a new box with subs up port back. I no it may be loud but hitting a 152 with 4 18's just means your not getting enough output somewhere. You would definetly be more happy doing some testing boxes, etc.... Hope this helps.

That is a nice score for daily driver. Most dailys on the TL do around 140 to 147. What metering system are you using to measure the DB's?

in the words of hexibase, "making a stereo system to measure spl is like building a microwave to measure its electromagnetic strength" for the average DD numbers shouldn't mean sh1t, as long as its loud to ears its good enough for me.

I have a scoring Car and a daily car and i´m happy that way, i can asure you, my daily car sounds way better than the scoring one hehhee.

My daily system is my comp system, single 18 does 150+42hz, at the head. just because i do numbers doesnt mean it sounds like ass.

Another thing, he metered on the headrest, that would be about 152 on the das right? i dunno why people care that much about scores unless you are a regular competitor. I had 3 10" scoring 147 @ 42 hz on my daily box and was wayyyyy louder than single tones boxes that could score much more than me. As i said, numbers don´t mean anything unless you care abouth competing

Your daily box was way louder, than a box that could score much more? that is a very retarded statement. If it is LOUDER, then it will score higher than the tones box.
