Picked up a circle cutting jig for the dremel I had and it works well but the bit it came with doesn't like mdf at all. Two 5" circles and its already shot. Any specific bit you guys would recommend that I could pick up at like Lowes or Menards?

how deep are you going? only go 1/4" max at a time. or you will burn them up everytime... and go carbide.

I had one took it back the next day..
and made my own.

Cleaned out the audio closet today to see what works, what doesn't and what to sell. Put a SA-12 up on C list but the PRS I've been saving to have fun with has some coil rub it didn't since last time so I guess she'll just be a pretty face and ass too

^^^That sucks. So some of my friends know. I am getting a 87 Astro cargo van... I am not sure when but I am thinking it to be a reason to make a T-line for my MA-8's, It is going to be a chill setup in the back and the whole base of the couch I wanna put back there could become the T'line.

Alright I've been weighting my options because I have time to think a lot. Anywho I've been thinking rather than getting a new amp I should either sell my kinetik hc2400 as it's pretty old and pick up a used xs d3100 or trying to pick up another kinetik hc2400 for a reasonable price because realistically if all went well I'd only have $450-500 to spend on a 3k and it's pretty har to find a nice 3k for that what do you guys think?

Question about fusing multiple runs fuse to carrying capacity or fuse to less I've read both can someone clarify?

Ok all a fuse is for is protecting the Wire and your Car so you want to fuse at the capacity of the wire. I use 300 amp fuse on each of the 3 runs in my jeep. Now the only thing I see is that you should have the wire coming from your alternator fused very close to the alternator and close to batt.

never fuse over capacity.
using a fuse lower than capacity will work if the fuse is of high enough rating to feed the current requirements of the equipment connected.
i've seen a few videos where guys were testing the fuses and they didn't blow.
i personally use a fuse lower than the carrying capacity of the wire... ie. 200 instead of a 300.
as stated above a fuse close to the alt will offer a bit more protection.

Just a street car. Im doing a pretty complete engine build, so everything is adding up quickly. The 1000 dollars of used value audio stuff (and 200+ lbs in a go fast build) makes it hard to hang on to. Haha
