as of right now i have 1 SA-15 2ohm DVC wired to a hifonics 1000.1D at 1ohm.
and im getting another SA-15.
so im wondering should i get another of the same amp or get 1 big amp to run the two subs.

Get one big amp kinda like what I did I got the stetsom 10kd. traded my 2 Memphis audio 4k's so will have a lot of head room and can upgrade subs later if wanted. You can always get a way bigger amp then needed and just set gain for what ever you need.

It would be cheaper to get another same amp.
Power at 2 Ohms is more expensive. But you can get Kicker 1500, or JL 1200 /, Alpine pdx,...
