Default what to do

I can either get 2 Infinity 1262's at $60 each
in a Xenclosures dual 12 sealed box for $120 (box gives each woofer 1.25ft3)
installed for an even $100
$340
or

a single sundown E12 for $110
in Xenclosures single 12 ported box for $160 (box gives woofer 2ft3 tune 34hz)
installed for the same $100
$370

what I don't know is which will sound better im not looking for SPL

also what amp should I get with a my total Build budget being $500

Default Re: what to do

U could prolly get two b stock sundown es from emf audio for about same as the infinitys as b stock just means may have some acsess glue nothing that affects the driver. Mabye look into that.

the infinity subs will sound better than the e 12.....just get that sealed box and put a little bit of polyfill in the box to deepen the bass responce and dont run alot of bass boost it will sound clean and crisp provided you have the right amp settings

Audio Technix 400 1 Amp Amplifier 1 Ohm Stable Mono Block with Bass Knob | eBay

that amp will do around 600rms at 1 ohm at 14.4...over 600rms at 15v and higher so it would be a great match for the infinity subs and they sound great and a good bit under your budget id grab the amp first cuz there not going to last long at that price....and have a built in clipping indicator
