I don't see where it does anyone any good to talk about what woofers they would have liked to have seen tested since the thread over on CA.com was up for a LONG time (and stickied BTW) with plenty of time allowed so people could send in their woofers or do whatever they had to do in order to get a woofer over to us to test. Keep in mind that we tested over 30 different woofers in ported, sealed, and all-out SPL, which is no small feat.

I sent in a sub (db drive PLW12D2) becuase I wanted to see what it can do. I had it in my Car so I have my own opinion of what it can/cannot do in a non SPL oriented daily driver. Shortly I will know where it stands in the world and what it's capable of (or not capable of). I wanted to send another sub and also an amp (db drive PD1200.1) to be used/tested but that didn't work out. I appreciate all the time people have taken to do the test even if the sub I sent get's it's ass handed to it. That is the risk you take with reviews, the answer might not be what you want to hear.

Regardless, I'm awaiting the results and lift my glass to all those who made it happen.

to add to this, consider that most people had to pay for the shipping to and back. for example, loyd and i were trying to get the xxx in for the test, however a round trip shipping of ~$200 is just too expensive for the both of us.

I was gonna send in a MTX 9500 Last time but sold em all and couldnt get one ordered in time to send it.....WOuld have loved to see real Un Biast test on that sub....
