well, do you want navigation or not?.. i would personally take the p6000dvd because of the 7" screen, and imo i would buy from sonicelectronix.com, i belive both of those units are a bit cheaper, and they also give you instalation for free... just like crutchfield

i dont know, it would be cool to have thats for sure. i was messing with the D3 yesterday, seems cool. they dont have the avh-p6000dvd yet, too new. should be getting in soon though they said.

one plus of the Avic-D3 is the ability to change the button illumination. the p6000dvd is only blue i bevlieve, and wont match every other interior light in my car, which is Amber.

sonic is actually a little more.

i already have the wiring harness for my car, and dont need an installation kit, my Car is single din, so its gonna be a custom install either way

I wouldnt go with either. One day your gonna start hearing noise through your system even though you didnt change or do anything, then your going to have to manually ground your rcas which is only a temporary fix. Ive had this happen to my avh-5700dvd and seen it happen to a few friends pioneer decks. It is a very common problem with all of the pioneer decks. Some people get lucky others do not.

I would look into an eclipse, clarion, panasonic, or alpine flip out instead.

Apparently there is a microfuse that blows in the pioneers or at least thats what ssa said. Personally after owning one I WILL NEVER BUY PIONEER AGAIN. and strongly urge you to look into it a little further before wasting your money.

I was going to say it's never happened to me and I've owned plenty of pioneers.... but same setup, same wiring, I just started getting a buttload of engine, ground noise on the same RCA's So needless to say, this Pioneers going bye-bye..

lol, once you get that noise you blew the dreaded micro fuse. It happens on all of them. I was PISSED when it happened to my deck which retailed for 1000.

I HIGHLY reccomend you look elsewhere, or at least look up the problem. its a well known problem.

All im gonna say is im gonna laugh when you sneeze and pop the microfuse and all you can hear is a deafening screech through all of your speakers until you ground them manually then your gonna eventually have to get a new deck. BEEN THERE DONE THAT. PIONEER IS THE ONLY BRAND WITH THIS PROBLEM. buy something nice that will last you a lifetime.
