Depends on multiple factors...

Budget, features, navigation, etc...

I personally like the Kenwood eXcelon line. It's pretty much all I've ever used except an occasional Alpine. I like the Kenwood's iPod interface because it allows iPod video directly through the 1 hook up. Unless, you get an older model or a lower end, that is. I have a KVT-815DVD and I have to use my video source instead of the iPod.

For sure. You can get the DDX812 via eGay for around that.

I'd suggest it. I know that's the one I want. Well, the DDX812 or the DNX8120...

There's a really cheap Pioneer DVD player that's getting GREAT reviews.
AVH-P4000DVD. MSRP is $500, so you should be able to find it for far less.

i own that double din and for the money i dont think there is ANY other doubline din that can copmpare...good clean screen...nice quality...easy to learn and simple but not to simple options...

i truly enjoy my jvc kw-avx800 sd slot,usb i use a 160
hard drive and use it for music videos and all my mp3's
and can be had for 500.00

Sony XAV-W1 is ****ing awsome.....reads ANY format CD/DVD and is pretty easy to use.....and has pretty decent picture quality....and is around 500 bucks....

I just installed my Kenwood Excelon DNX8120 in my Expedition, and I can say, that I am really happy with this unit. I was seriously thinking of some of Kenwoods cheaper lines, but I realized that after I added all the options that the DNX8120, the price would come up pretty fast also. So I can say that the unit I have, pretty much anyone will be happy with it, I know I am.
