Pandora Radio Headunits & iphone question

I will be getting an iphone soon and will be using the pandora app in my car. My question is, can I feed pandora through the ipod cable that attaches to the bottom of the ipod to the usb in the headunit? Or is that only a bluetooth option to stream audio. I'd like to keep the sound quality high without it getting diminished through bluetooth. Thanks.

Even subscription pandora or hacked is still not good quality? I believe they increase the quality when you have that. But I might be wrong.

I use my iPhone on my pioneer through a USB. The quality is good but it's not as loud as a cd is though. The newer pioneers are pandora compatible. Like the AVH-P4300DVD. Pioneer just came out with a app radio. You can use your iPhone apps on the touch screen. But it doesn't play CD's or DVD's so your stuck with just pandora or iPod for music.

awesome! I only use ipod and will be using pandora on occasion. do I have to have a pandora capable headunit? I currently have a kenwood kdc x794 can i stream pandora through this or no?

sq media is a matter of opinion, but my vision of sq is on a cd, or a high end turntable with tube amps..

Yes I looked up that kenwood unit and it says you can use pandora with it. Not sure on the quality though
