lol...my bad...like i said i really like my radio...very easy to use...
haha, i appreciate the input. makes me feel alot better about chosing jvc.
i've honestly hated every non pioneer i've ever used.. so this is a big step for me.. but the menu's seem pretty easy to navigate based on the vids. and lets face it, pioneer has been on a HUGE spiral down as far as head units go.

i didnt think i was going to like it cause it was a jvc...lol...what sold me was the 5v for so cheap and the dsp/lpf/hpf...its almost an active radio...
What kind of bluetooth is it? I would be positive of what it is before you buy it.
My buddy got a cheapish kenwood with bluetooth but it cuts out like anything below 100hz. Tried it with my android and his iphone and did the same thing.. no bass from bluetooth.

My JVC was like 150, and has most if not all of those same specs, and honestly, I HATE the eq setting. This one's a bit better because at least it has a visual representation of all the functions, mine doesnt, but for real, The unit itself is pretty cheap, and I'm PRETTY SURE, all my sound quality issues I'm having are coming from this unit, not my speakers or anything of the sort. My last JVC unit before my current one was pretty damn shotty on quality too. I'd be weary.

the 80 prs is over twice my budget and doesn't even have the whole reason i'm swapping head units, which is bluetooth.
don't get me wrong, i'd love one. i had a 880prs a few years ago and i have a 7800dvd(basically a flip out 5.1 channel 880prs) in my expo.
i don't need all that stuff in my car. i'm pretty happy with the low end pioneer thats in there now. i just want some of the newer bluetooth and android functionality built it.

yea i'm not buying a prs. i'm not spending more than 160$, let alone 350$. i would much rather buy a 160$ deck and at least get a decent amp, instead of buying a prs and buying an audiopipe amp(which i would have to do)

I didn't catch your budget. I really like the JVC's bluetooth integration, it comes with a dongle, but they have 2 inputs so you don't have to pull it in and out. I've been really impressed with the last few JVC decks I installed, Kenwood took them over and they pack a ton of features for the price.

They could be similar as Kenwood and JVC are under the same roof now.
