Soundstream 7" Touch screen

Soundstream VIR-7022NR. Does anyone know if this is fixable? thats the connecter that connect to the screen. You can see that one is broke. Help Please

If you could get your hands on another one of those connectors then sure. It should be just soldered on the back side. 10 min fix. Other then that you would have to get creative in making a new pin for it.

i believe it is fixable if you have some soldering skills or some patience and practice time with a soldering iron.
the key is going to be finding a replacement for that connector.

are there any identifying numbers on that connector?

could you show some pics of the other side of that board?

1-2 hour job lol. That is fixable you just need the connector, fine tipped soldering iron, and very steady hands

like eldo said, look for a tinny part number on it and google for it. If not you may be sol.

EDIT. google for the white numbers on the board.

if you have an electronic shop close by you may want to pop in and ask if they could identify the connector and possibly give info for a source.
to find that particular part may be tricky. you may want to contact the manufacture of that unit and ask if they could source the part for you.

it is just a edge card connector (28 position) but the size doesn't look common.
digikey has a ton of connectors and maybe an email to them with the pic may help.
if i stumble upon womething suitable online i will put up a link.

i will say that soldering on that ribbon cable is tricky and will require some skill to not melt it so be careful.
