Yeah, I watched a few video's on crutchfield on how to operate certain tasks. The more confusing was the network 1, 2, and 3 but I got a fairly good understanding of how to work it.
Not to mention is kind of auto tunes itself doesnt it? As far as EQ and all that goes, I thought it had the feature where it just tunes itself when you put the mic where it needs to go.
Either way, I get it tuesday, and since I forgot to buy a 3rd set of RCA's, I'll just be running the mid and high's, sacrificing the low end RCA so that I can go active for the high and mid at least. I might get it installed by the end of the week. I dunno, work's been crazy. lol

My problem lie's in not knowing what a GOOD system sounds like. I've never made it to a show, and I don't have many friends that are into Car Audio, and I'm the "guru" FOR them, lol so I have no good standard. I got my stuff tuned to what I like, but it's never been good enough. I'm hoping that with this Pioneer, I'll be able to hear what "real" sq sounds like. haha
the auto tune is probably better than my own judgement at this point is I guess what I'm getting at. lol

So I installed this thing in the middle of the night, at my dad's place after working about 12 hours or so between actual work and working for my dad. I get everything installed and went straight home to get some sleep and it was sounding about the same as the "high end" sony I had given a chance (because of the features offered at the price point).
I had to wake up balls ass early and drive an hour to my girl's house and I've been hanging with her. She works 3rd shift though so after she left, I finally got a chance to mess with some settings.
After messing around, I ended up doing the auto-eq adjustment. Mind you, I have no low end right now, as I don't have enough sets of RCA to do all three mid/high/low, so I've just got High and Mid right now.
I definitely got to say that I'm really enjoying the sound quality of this thing so far. I let it do it's time alignment, auto eq, ect ect and believe I still have the sound retrieval thing for MP3's on (since I'm running usb) and it's sounding much better than the sony. It gets pretty loud and retains the quality as well. I'm definitely happy with the quality.
