Default lil help

I recently had my Car broke into and my subs, amp, and HU swooped. Its been about 2 months and i need my bass back. I have a few left over subs ( a 12" RE SE and a 12" MMATS procast) but want to put them in my room rather back into my car so i can get them stolen too. Whats is the cheapest and easyest way to do this? i dont know if this is in the right section but any help will be apperciated! thanks

plate amp would be the easist
car audio amp with a sealed bat and charger would be the other option
or you could get a ht amp

Im dont think many plate amps are meant to run at 1ohm. You could run them at 8ohms though. Most likely you would be severely underpowering them, but you wont blow your amp. I would stick with one sub running at 2ohms if I were you...

dam thats alot of power , i only want like 400 watts since i used to run the sub off about 240 RMS and it slamed realy hard. But ill look into the roe store, and if i ran the 2 subs couldnt i get 4ohms? since i can run them both down to 2 ohms then wire them together for either 1 or 4? or would running 2 diff subs off one plate amp hurt them?

Im sorry, I totally spaced, I meant 4ohms not 8ohms...But still, running both subs off the same amp isnt a great idea IMO. Unless of course they have the same RMS wattage...

consider using a pro audio amp or two plate amps.

yes, that will work. however just make sure you operate the amp at or above the minimum impedance load.
