Default Best bang for buck headphones?

Can you all list some? I'm honestly getting tired of everybody riding the nuts of Beats by Dre headphones

Default Re: Best bang for buck headphones?

Thanks Fallen,

will have to try a pair of those when i get done chewing threw these sonys that have be decent for $20.

my 2 cents: depends on what your are using them for will depend on what is comfortable for you. over the ear, earbuds, on ear...

i use the sony MDREX10LP/BLK earbuds at the moment for day use sitting behind a computer. they are my sound good with inline volume, co-worker canceling & other noises, and inexpensive to replace if you catch a cord. also has a good range of sound and bass.

down side is that the wires are a bit troublesome as they will tangle easy and if not careful the Wire will take a funny shape (wrapping them around something like your MP3 player).

I loved my Psi earbuds. So sad mines broke and they stopped making the But AudioQue earbids sound great, I heard Shok Inds makes better ones, I'm gonna try those next.

Newegg.ca - MEElectronics - M6 Stylish Sound-Isolating Sports Premium Headphones - 2 Pack

Those are the exact ones I have. My GF uses the pink pair

I got the pair for $20ish, I think you can find a single set for under $20. I just love the tips they come with. There are 5 different styles/sizes. The biggest tri-flanged ones worked the best for me. I can almost totally block out the outside noise. (With no music playing I can hear my heartbeat). The biggest down side is also it's biggest upside. The wire that wraps around your ear. It's really hard to figure out. But once you do get used to it, it's amazing. Unlike most canal earphones, the cords vibration is damped. This eliminates "microphonics". Ie sound being transmitted through the cable itself. It's also great for running, they won't fall out.

The cable isn't too tangle prone either . Man I love these things.
Here's a review.

Honestly as far as bang for the buck, these are hard to beat.

headphones are usually like Car audio. you get what you pay for. If your looking for some good quality ones are usually $200+. I have Sony mdr-v700's and they sound pretty good. you can hear down to about 35hz good and they seem to be lasting. It's all about the price range but you cant really go wrong. unless you buy beats haha.

And like car audio there's a lot of overpriced garbage out there.
Just because it's $200 doesn't mean it's good.

Default Re: Best bang for buck headphones?

I've used SkullCandy Titans for the past 3 years and they do the job for me. The connections on either end of the cord is what normally goes bad on me after 6 months to a year of hard abuse. My current pair is 8 months old and starting to wear but I bring them nearly everywhere in my pocket, I even sleep with them in most nights.

In the sound department they lack in the vocals and aren't the most detailed for highs and any review will tell you they are very very bass heavy. But for $50 I think they are a solid buy compared to the small variety I've tried.

beats are way over rated, bose is over priced and i know nothing about the other.

i would personally go with seinheiser if you really want something that sounds good. myself and pro will both attest to their quality.

I refuse to spend more than 20 on headphones because I always end up breakimg them. Koss headphones have always been good to me. Ive had 5 + pairs and have loved every set
