Amp rca prob...

ook..so if its not one prob its another..

ok so on my amp there are 3 diffrent places where an Rca jack can go. two of them are regular Rca Righ and Left jacks and there is one below it that says LFE. So i hooked the rca jacks to the right and left rca jacks on the amp and the output on my dvd player. well it played but you could hear voices. And i mixed and matched so many times...lol how do i just make it play the bass??
Do i need a surround sound system? Right now i just have my sterio pluged into my dvd/tape player and thats what i have been useing.

How can i make this work?

EDIT: just saw this with the paper i got with the amp. and it says that i can just use the right and left rca jacks...but even when i have the Freq all the way down (to 50) i can still hear some talking...is this ok?

thanks,
Mike

the two RCA inputs should be used if your receiver does not have a subwoofer output. by using these inputs, you will be using the internal crossover. if your receiver has a subwoofer output, use the lfe input as it will bypass the internal crossover and use the crossover settings on your receiver.

voices can sometimes still be heard even if a crossover is set at 50hz. how loud are the voices?

I have to use the rca outputs. And the voices arent very loud, i just noticed it on a song. I had it all hooked up and it sounded alright, my ports werent glued, i just got that done about 5min ago. Now i have to wait for them to dry, tommorow i will put the sub back on and see how it goes.
Now i just need to find like a...3 in 1 RCA jacks. lol i dont know if they make such a thing, but the rca jacks come from my dvd player and hook into my cd player, that has all my speakers hooked onto it. well now that i have to have the rca's also going into this amp i need a connection to come off of the rca's and go into the amp. Im gonna stop by radio shack tommorow...hopefully they can help me out.

Thanks again.

not quite sure what you mean by a 3 in 1 rca jack. usually audio rca's only have two connectionis for left and right channels. i'm a bit lost as to why you need 3 connections.

just ignore the lfe connection if your using the left right inputs
