I got Limewire Pro yesterday. Have enough music from that to fill 4 Cds now.

Another decent one, that is hardly ever heard of, is SoulSeek. Not sure what network it uses, or if it even uses networks like gnutella and such.

I usually get my Miami Bass (Power Supply, Bass 305, Bass Mekanik, Techmaster, etc..) type music from SoulSeek

It's hard to find, but if you can find someone with Kazaa lite k++ hacked, and the k-lite master hack, you can download at flying fast speeds and not share. I do recomed sharing, but not when you are downloading.l

Alright, seeing as no one really knows, I will lay it down for you. mIRC used to be a chat client, but now it's mostly used for file transfer, use that if you want an entire album. It will probably need to be a popular album or no one will have it. BitTorrent is the mIRC killer. It's very simple to use and you can get entire albums, movies, or games at once. LimeWire is okay for getting single songs. You can find very hard to find songs on LW. BTW, don't try and tell me anything listed above is illegal so you have to delete the post. I was talking about downloading already legal indie movies and music. And the games are freeware. So there.

It sounds like you have one of two problems.

Some p2p programs block coypwrited flies from being downloaded by turning the audio file into just pink noise. Kazza is one of the p2p programs that does this (at least it did with me). Limewire does not do this.

The second problem you may be having is with your ISP. If you can not connect to ANY of the p2p programs and download files its your ISP. Some ISP's do not allow you to connect to p2p networks. The only remedy for that is to switch ISP's.

Want to find full albums with Limewire? Search for ALBW. just did it and got 150 results right off the bat.
If I remember right ALBW is actually one MP3 file with the whole album in it. I use mp3directcut to split the files up.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD FROM LIMEWIRE IF YOU DO NOT NEED TO. Trust me, I have downloaded probably over 300 gigs worth of music from ftp services and much less from limewire. You can't really trust limewire to give you what you want. And the downloads are slow. I'm not saying to do this because it's wrong, wrong, wrong. But I DON'T know a guy that will hook you up with 20tb of warez for 25 bucks a month. It's totally NOT worth it. I DIDN'T do this before and get lots of good movies, music, and games.

everytime Ive used limewire I always end up with a virus. I do eveything with torrents now.. Yes some downloads are real slow. The download speeds depend on how many seeders are seeding.
I also use Usenet.

SoulSeek is the best p2p program out in my opinion.. you can get just about any full album you want.. www.slsknet.org , its great. also i use BearShare sometimes for single songs, and WinMX sometimes.. also mIRC is Great for downloading Whatever you want, and so are bit torrents.. here is a link to a website that has cd's for free and if not they are only a $1.00:
