well, basically as long as i pay for the shirts and the ink, he lets me use all the equipment for free. if i decide to go along with the shirts, they will all be hand printed personally be me.

so its ok that i already made my own ROE t-shirts? i made like 4 of them...i still have the design somewhere so i could make more. they were screen printed using black ink for the lettering and the tc 5200 15" in the background, and green for the inside of the lettering. they look kickass i will post a pic in a different thread later.

i think it would be cool to eventually get an enclosure page alot like the vid page... have a link to each companys subs and sizes and have people put up the boxes they used with that sub or had good experiences with a box and that sub. then it would be more driver spacific. (It would take alot of designing to get a nice full page of boxes but i think it would be worth it... no more what kind of box threads!!)

Anywho what about port area. Should I design it with 15sq in per cuft like the rule of thumb?
Oh and areoports are a must too!
For most people, that is a good rule to live by.

That way it would cover, or at least come very close to the suggested design from the company. So like a Sound Splinter RL-p 15 can thrive in a smaller box due to the low Q, while the CSS SDX15 would demand a larger box due to the higher Q. But once again, we can only shoot for generaliztions because no one will know for sure until they build and test in their particular vehicle.
Everyone has their own preferences, I usually prefer slightly larger and slightly lower tuned boxes then average. But that is me, so maybe in the hopes of doing a range of boxes it will help cover more peoples needs.

I'll download BBP6, I used to have it. I'll need it for cut sheets. I prefer WinISD and sketchup, but cut sheets are a pain with that method.
On of the issues is every sub needs a unique box. So we should explain these were all designed for a generic sub. Any sub in particular we should use as the "reference driver". I'm thinking something with a qts of .4 would be good. Thats pretty average in the sub world. Then the same sub can be used for sealed and ported.

Awesome, now we are getting somewhere. If you have a nice design program that can produce clear images it would really help. BBP6 or maybe even the RE box calculator would help.

Now back on topic, someone brought up the idea of the enclosure designs. Would someone like to take the lead and start throwing together some standard designs for one and 2 drivers from 6.5" up to 18". Then if needed 3 or 4 driver designs could be added.
Cut sheets would be excellent if possible.
I can help with that if you'd like.
