well just try and make a 3:1 ratio to the size you need or have to fit and leave the ported side untuned (big hole) for port then find the impedance spike on a sweep or the peak hz and thats where you tune....if it peaks to high 55 to 60hz put some polyfill in sealed section that will lower the tune hz

fourth order for 2 8s
I got a pair of 8 inch subs from factory Sony systems in f150s. I want to build a fourth order for them. Sony seemed confused when I asked for ts specs. That being said I just want a general design. I can figure out dimensions,I just need an idea on volumes for sealed and ported. I also don't know what tuning to aim for on the ported side. All help is appreciated.
