makes 1 ohm a half ohm. it was a trick used in the late 90s mainly. there weren't voice coil options back then. around 1998-2000 you saw 1.4 ohm coils and that was about it. amplifiers that were 1 ohm stable typically ran 2-4 subwoofers, sometimes 16. these were basically made for juggernaut and other 1.4 ohm coils that you would put these on a coil and make it .7 ohm. that way you can get more power from your amplifier.

solox still hasn't done squat in spl, besides doing well in street. 10s and 12s are great, but 18 has been a bit of a waste. the atomics are louder than anything memphis throws at it.

as for the mmats, they are all sold... i was referring to their impedence transformer they came with. back in 2000 there weren't dual 1 or dual .7 coils. mainly it was dual 1.4. these transformers were halfers and would knock a 1.4 down to .7 ohm. these transformers were the most powerful ones

apx 18s 1-2k daily, you can run more, but i am talking about mindless turn it up til you get straight dc from the amps. for spl we run 4 6500ds per. the 6500ds were used in team xs spl - santos extreme 1 vehicle that took 3rd or 4th(sorry i can't remember) last year at finals. amps probably have about 1 hour total of being turned on. the amps are a beast, the only thing that can destroy them is water(don't ask how we figured that out).

only subs proven to be louder than the apx are the re mt and possibly the t3 18... sorry dd is inconclusive and who wants to get a home loan to buy one?

i actually do accept credit card through paypal, i do charge a 3% though...

the 6500d is one of the top 5 most powerful amps out there. there is that, the hifonics, the soundstream 10000d, memphis 4000d, i am sure there is one more out there that compares to those.

10000d is touch and go right now, can act a little finickey, but the 6500d is what we use to set world records, win dbdrag world finals, etc. 6500d needs a good powersupply and a real man to run it. the amp is definitely not for the faint of heart.

its 6500w rms at like @17v at 1 ohm...at 12v its like 3600-3800 somethin iirc. @15v its like 5,000w.
