yeah it is nice but i am still gonna go for the 1200wrms hifonics thanks for all the help though

I CAN"T wait!
im building a whole new box to go in my truck and with the new amp it should really slam
im excited
and then im using the box i have now as a competition box...
more on these later... when i get to it all

They're made by tha same company.. doesn't make them tha same amp though.

i may look into this amp instead of a hifonics due to price, and people seem to have good results with it.

I have clamped just about all of the Hifonics amps and it does rated power at advertised conditions.
I was just wondering what your numbers were when you clamped it. Not wattage but the raw data you used to get your output numbers

I clamped it at 104xwrms on 14.4

did know that the Crunch amp was only 800wrms, i would definitly go with the hifonics then.
and corey what did you bench the amp at? i believe the amp was CES certified and its rated at 14.4 volts. so at 14.4 volts it should put out atleast 1080watts...

I have heard the crunch amp can do close to its rated like around 1200 watts which isn't bad for the price tag it has..

well here is the deal i am getting a new amp b/c my parents blew a channel on my other one and they said they would buy me something within the price range, so heres what i have sound far and want to pick b/w these 2 amps...
a 1600w crunch amp or a 1200w hifonics amp. i know they are made by the same company and i know the hifonics is made with some better components within them, but im curious...

just caught somehting... on the hifonics it is actually 1200w rms and the crunch is 800wrms... im goin hifonics unless someone says something to make my think about it
