Boomboxx Coming, coming.

I just need my victims (subs) first. S15L7's coming from... Indoaudio.

I know. He's always been fast when I've ordered from him before, it's just this time it's taking sooo long. Paid 3 weeks ago.

almond oh lol. good job. get em hooked up and get some numbers goin
03-12-2007 01:32 PM
Boomboxx Also, forgot to mention. I live in Norway, and car audio is pretty expensive here. For comparison, the Rockford Fosgate T40001BD is over $2000. :O

Boomboxx This is the upgrade from the Massive P3000.1.

Had a SoundMagus X-3000 before, which is exactly P3000.1. Doesn't sound too bad, and did a 144.4dB on new TL mic with a SoundSplinter RL-p15 in my Civic @ 51hz. SQL box tuned to 34-35hz. Amp wired at 4 ohms, stock electrical.

sundownz Those are also 14.4 volts numbers... should do about the same power as the Massive Audio P3000.1 (which is made by Sound Magus) since it appears to be pretty much the same thing based on those power figures, only stacked instead of longer.

Erthshker Its a decent amp but for the $ i would have personally gotten something else...tell us how it works out though..
03-12-2007 09:20 AM
almond even 1% is bad. wow that is one dirty amp. i think cea compliant is rms power at 0.1% thd.
03-12-2007 09:04 AM
Hoovdawg Ooops, just noticed you can see 1% at 2 Ohms also, just with lower wattage, my bad.
03-12-2007 09:02 AM
Hoovdawg 5% THD at 2ohms? icky poooooo. I'll take my 1% @1ohm with my vr1000d thanks. I'd rather have a clean 1300 watts than 3000 dirty watts. Just my opinion. Of course if yer lookin at just blowin the glass out, have at!! =-)

03-12-2007 08:24 AM
Boomboxx If you read what I wrote, you'd see that that is exactly what it is.
03-12-2007 06:41 AM
X_Wing That looks like took two amps and made them into one.
03-12-2007 06:40 AM
Boomboxx Haha, sweet. Thanks, man.

Imagine how something so easy could be this hard.

Bought a couple of amps... (PICS)

I needed some power for my two S15L7's, so I bought two of these:

1% THD: 2543WRMS @ 2 ohm - 1835WRMS @ 4 ohm
2% THD: 2712WRMS @ 2 ohm - 2048WRMS @ 4 ohm
3% THD: 2876WRMS @ 2 ohm - 2166WRMS @ 4 ohm
5% THD: 3182WRMS @ 2 ohm - 2425WRMS @ 4 ohm

14,4V, dummy load, 50hz sinus.

0,122% THD - 1000WRMS @ 4ohm
S/N: 95.2dB (A, 0-22kHz)
