nice sub, but i dont like the foam surround as much as the rubber, like on my lms 5400's, and my 5200's... looks nice either way!

stratusrt01 yessir, of course. I will have another box for these just for comps.

stratusrt01 I had 2 10's on 4 Sundown SAZ-1500's, hit 149.5 with the seats up. Decided that I wanted to get my low, deep bass back, so I sold those and I'm going to run 2 of these 15's on the same 4 amps with a hell of a lot of mids and highs and equalization.

The sub weighs 72lbs.
04-20-2007 04:05 PM
Dylan Dude That thing is massive. How much does it weigh?

So what is your system now? That sub or 2 10's or what? You switch systems way too much. lol

stratusrt01 Got the new sub in today, and all I can say is Wow, this thing's a beast. It absolutely dwarfs my old Juggernaut 15. My car has become an empty shell with nothing but seats in it, and it's my daily driver, so I've got to get cracking.

picture of it next to the Juggernaut motor and basket, and the Jugg is not a small sub to begin with:

It's already in progress, the new door panels, a pillars and center pod are being done right now. I'll start on the enclosure at the beginning of May when I go on vacation.

well, #1, I didn't change the chip for the subsonic that comes in it, which is set at 33hz. I am getting the 25hz subsonic chip for this setup. I was also using it like a bass boost in a sense on rap music and music that already had bass in it. I understand now that it is not really designed to be used in that way, it's used to enhance bass in songs that really don't have any, so it should be turned off when playing bass music, or it will distort and sound unnatural.
