Just as an option. I'm a moderator of an Australian site. www.justcommodores.com.au (Yeah, spammed it but hey! If you need information on the Pontiac GTO just ask! We KNOW the Goats!almost 15,000Members....at the moment we are 1609 members away from being the biggest Commodore forum! w00t!)

Anyway, back on topic! lol

When we delete a post, then we delete it permanetly, but instead of deleting a thread we move it to a section "Deleted Stuff" This sub forum is only viewable by moderators and Admin and works wonderfully if we need to reprimand someone, then we still have their actual post to refer too. Plus, it allow us to reinstate the thread if need be. Then as a general rule the thread will be pruned off after 6 months of being in that sub forum.
