warrior_style go to reaudio.com...use the calc...it'll show you the cutouts for all the pieces...

Krannyman92 well the subs are Polk Momo's and are DVC's. Planning on running them on 700-800rms at 1 ohm. could someone use that calc again and send me a screenshot or picture of what you think the best box would be?

yes, but however, the larger percentage of the common 12" woofers on the market will fall within the 4.5-5ft^3 bracket for a pair. that was more of what i was trying to say.

sound=vibration need more info
type of subs..
power your putting to them...... things like this... every sub if different and the point of building is a box is to build one that will allow ur sub to perform at its best.... so let us know exactly what u got
04-02-2008 04:26 PM
daveharris 1st question answer....no you can have 1 chamber but your port will have to be bigger.

2 Questions about Boxes...

1st question. If you're planning to port a box made for 2 12's, does it matter if the box itself has 2 chamber's or a single chamber?

And 2nd question. Is the box i designed good enough for some serious beats? The screenshot shows what i made.

Btw the subs have an Fs of 31hz.
