2k1 Sdime its easier then youd think......measure alot, cut once lol..... we used a sawzall, its not that hard to guide straight. we removed m bed though to cut everything, took a different approach.

Speedcult If you can, pull the interior. Hot metal can and will burn stuff it touches leaving cigarette looking burns. EAR PLUGS! Cutting the bed is loud thanks to all the metal surfaces to reflect that sound. The interior is just as bad and your ears will ring bad without them. X2 on the primer/paint to prevent rust. Use large bolts with large washers and lock nuts to hold the box in place from the inside. I recommend covering the box with roll on bed liner to protect it. Fill the gaps under the box... expanding foam works perfect and you can spray it down before the box and sand it smooth to make a nice "floor" for the box. It's almost 2am so this may be babble and I may have forgot stuff. Beer makes a nice reward

Cap'n'Crunch use a grinder with a cut off wheel to cut the steel
sawzalls leave really jagged edges and its hard to keep a straight line

if you can, primer the exposed steel to keep it from rusting
