Most if not ALL products you can find at a hardware store are asphalt based. If you live anywhere but maybe alaska you're gonna have fun in the summer watching all your hard work peel and fall off.

look for window flashing at lowes its usually 6in wide and 30-40ft a roll for about $12 thats what i used
