for a box i would do 2 seperate box's. sub up port back w/ 2 4" aero's per box. Something around 3.5 cubes per pair should work out.

birth sheet says it does 1,763 watts rms @ 1 ohm and iv been running it at .5

That amp is only rated 1200 watts rms @ 1 ohm... thats a small amp to say the least... Not putting down your setup by any means but i wouldnt say your electrical is too solid.. My x1001 does close to 1200 watts rms and I can keep the voltage up fairly well with a stock 60 or 90 amp alt with just big3 in 1/0. not to mention all my highs are amped and drawing extra power. Good luck with your next setup tho.

yeah im not trying to knock on your system but most of those local shows dont calibrate there audio control meters and make it more sensitive so yousee higher #s and feel good and pay money. Either way I wouldnt go with the ov2 or any power acoustic last I heard they are rated at 16v and the more amps you have the more of a pain in the @ss it is. Have you upgraded your full electrical system and have you used alot fo second skin in your car (and some rightstuff foam filler) made 20 boxes till you find the 1 that works best with your setup. if you havnt done some of these you still got room for improvement. Also I am a big fan of audicontrol's linedrivers

That is either the OLDDDD Audiocontrol meter or the new one thats jacked WAYYYYYYYY up.

No way youre doing anywhere near those numbers even with a leveled out AC-190.

Also I'm thinking about jacking my gf's power acoustik ov-2 1800 and getting 1 more off ebay or something I'm guessing they do around 800-900 rms so if I got a true 1800 watts rms out of one 1800 per two subs I should be gettin pretty loud correct?

what meter did they use at the comp? You have a land rover so you should have some good room to build a decent box maybe even a 4th order. but remember bigger is not always better. I would have first looked into your current setupo and see if you had any better options such as better power system better box sound deadner alt all that could help you get the extra db your loocking for

hit a 157.1 and picked up 4 12" cvrs

i did a 157.1 on the ac sealed up at the dash today at a local comp with 1 15" tc3k and a mtx 7801 at .5 ohms (rated 1700 watts rms @ 1 ohm) and tied for first so knowing it would be harder to get much louder with the same setup (had a 2.6 cube box with a 12" port tuned to 50Hz ) i went and got 4 12" '08 0r '09 kicker cvr's. any ideas on a box or amp(s)? any oppinions?
