ROE has the best AdWords system I've seen yet.

You know, there are negative repercussions if you click "EVERY" AdWord. Trust me, I own my own site.

First page FTW!
EDIT: Nevermind, somehow I got bumped back down to the second page.

I have experience with this on my blog.
I posted my blog on my sports site, and a bunch of members nailed the ads in my blog hundreds of times.
I did sign up for adsense, but my intention wasn't meant for my members to blow up the ads with multiple clicks.
I did get an email from google regarding it.

This is not the reason for the thread.
Me, asking you to click the ads is against the Google TOS, and they could cancel our account, thus dropping all of our ad revenue. This would be the exact opposite of what I want.

I hope not to see a bunch of gung hoe ad clickers, as that might give google the wrong idea and force them to take action against us.

The clicks are FINE just the way they are.
I just wanted you guys to know exactly why we chose to put them up.

The importance of Google ads on this site

I have gotten a couple of complaints about the Google ads that are placed on the site, so rather than responding to every email that comes through, I figured I would post up a short explanation to let you know why they are here.

Every time you guys click on an ad, we get a small portion of the revenue that Google charges their PPC customers.

This site, though not as busy as it used to be, does take up a lot of space on our server. More that DIYMA.com in fact (my other forum).

This site is hosted on a dedicated server, along with the other sites I own:

www.diymobileaudio.com

www.ampguts.com

www.audiojunkies.com

The deditcated server costs me about $350 per month to run, and as of right now, we are looking at another upgrade.

The income we generate from you clicking the affiliate ads goes directly towards the payment of the server.

We also bring in some income through an upgraded membership subscription.
Most members on this site have signed up for a free account, however if you wish, you can support the site by upgrading your free membership to paid membership.
Paying members get extra permissions that free members do not get.

Premium members receive the following account upgrades:

-Less google ads
-Increased PM Box limit to 1000 (increased from 100)
-User name in Bold
-Instant access to vendor giveaways (no minimum join date required to qualify)
-Instant access to Classifieds forum (no minimum post count required to post ads)
-Ads placed in Classifieds forum automatically get upgraded to Featured Status, and appear on the forums main page

The money collected here also goes to pay for the server and site upgrades.

If you are interested in supporting the growth of ROE, and want to help us fund the site, please consider signing up as a contributing member.
And thank you, for puttin up with the Ads.
