don't go that way my greek friend(φιλε αποφυγε τον οπως ο διαολος το λιβανι!)since you're in greece try going the other way around:Formula-x FX-4000 D!3200 watts rms at 1 ohm,proven over the years durability-even better-cheaper for you if you can find the old chassis too(never breaks down/burn even at lower than 0.5 ohm loads in everyday use!).as for the pair mentioned in the beginning of the post go for ICE 3500 d. BRZ is a great amp but i'd go SPL Dynamics...

Those SPL Dynamics amps have a big name over here in the UK, never tested them myself but ive heard that they are used in a large number of SPL vehicles..

What do you mean? I just found that one. It seems to have a great Fuse rating and good damping factor.

as for the fuses.. notice the SPL is rated at .5 u cant get .5.....it takes twice the current at .5 as it does at 1 ohm...

some amps are known to do well over the fuse rating. looking at the fuse is a good way to compare but not always the best. look at the reputation.

Me too. I find quiet little things about him. The thing is that the BRZ has 250Amps fuse and the ICE 300Amps Fuse. I just want the best for my HCCA 15.2. Thats all....

dunno anything about personally about the SPL but back several yrs ago they had a good name overseas. IF that is still the case then I think either amp would be fine.

I can find nothing on the ICE series tho...that scares me..

SPL Dynamics ICE-3500d (300Amps FUSE)
Max Power: 8000W
RMS Power Rating (@ 14.4V):
RMS @ 4OHM : 700W x 1 chan.
RMS @ 2OHM : 1500W x 1 chan.
RMS @ 1OHM : 2500W x 1 chan.
RMS @ 0.5OHM : 3500W 0,15%thd x 1 chan.
RMS @ 0,5OHM : 4000W 1%thd x 1 chan.

VS...

Hifonics Brutus BRZ 2400.1d (250Amps FUSE)
RMS Power Rating (@ 14.4V):
4 ohms: 850 watts x 1 chan.
2 ohms: 1700 watts x 1 chan.
1 ohm: 2400 watts x 1 chan.

Probably both of them are good amps but which would I choose between the two?
I want to run my Orion HCCA 15.2 the best way possible.
Please help me choose.
