Re: Need camcorder input.

I'm leaning towards the play sport unless I can get a killer deal on the Samsung. Found factory refurbished play sports with warranty for 100 shipped. Only thing that worries me is how good the Mic is and lack of real zoom

yea, when buying at like walmart they wont list that stuff and you will need to look it up, but online stores will list it like newegg.

yes, mp is the size of the picture, or known as resolution.

3. 2 to 7 lux (lower is better) illumination rating
4. i wouldnt worry about higher than 720hd unless you have a 1080hd tv you plan on watching the vids on as this only adds uneeded price increase.

edit: ill add that cmos sensors are ok but have more noise. the ccd's use more power but have higher quality.

I can probably capture flex and such better on the samsung but the battery is weak sauce... But I could use my car charger to charge it.

might come down to price, Found some used Kodack's for 50-75 range.

Need camcorder input.

I'm looking at decent small camcorders. Not really wanting to spend more than 220. I'd like to get 720p with 60fps, most of the ones I'm finding are 30, and do 60fps in low resolution.

I'm not sure if this one does 60fps on 1080/720 but its pretty nice and I checked it out at best buy.

Samsung HMX-Q10 HD 2MP Black Camcorder | Overstock.com

edit does 60 frames per second

I'd really like to try and stay under 200 bucks

any suggestions are welcomed
