Hmmm, I missed this. The wire looks great!

My only issue is the speaker wire. I feel speaker wire NEEDS to be OFC If the speaker wire was ofc, I'd buy it right freakin meow!

8ga cca is like 10ga ofc.

I will definitively be looking at the 0ga for my next build to do the long runs.

unless you have bought that exact wire from that exact ebay page, ill have to disagree with you, i have purchased about 30 feet of it, and its pretty darn thick.

considering diyma is the sq sister to this forum i would consider them to be a sponsor, considering they have the same owner.

so enough trash talking this wire. I cleaned up most of it.

cca is good wire, it's only about 75% as conductive but less than 50% of the price, therfor has a significant place in the market. Argue it all you want its the truth.

the cca is more conducive to corrosion, but you should be sealing the ends of your wire anyway

and not to argue your info dsktim as your info is generally legit, but that is contradicting a chart that has pics and real measurements to back it up

as you can see bullz has a conductor od of .4, thats ,more than stinger hpm and cadence

i have used CCA 1/0 gauge wire and it works fine, not much of a voltage drop, and i was really on a tight budget.

yes, I know the difference between cca and ofc. The thin jacket is accounted for. It is super durable and made to withstand being beaten up.

I believe OFC is a thought. I have some rockford, bullz, shok, and more on its way in for comparison

You can't directly read the ohms, as it will likely read .001 or similar. What you have to do is use said length and run a high current through it, and measure the voltage drop. That will give you a more accurate reading.
