Came home to a nice heavy package today

Didn't get the fancy spools like I wanted tho

. Anyway this stuff is fairly nice, especially considering the cost. You have to put some force behind it to bend it and it doesn't slide over itself at all but it gets as small as you should ever need it. Nearly the size of a nickle or exactly .775" OD. The wall of the jacket, which really is pretty damn thick, is .15" And because we all need to tie knots with wire here you go

Yea......looks like im going to order some....... Im pricing out the fuse blocks, bus bars, and mil spec battery terminals from VTE now. Then I will just need heat shrink and lugs...... time to check the CC balance....the misses is gonna kill me.....

I just did all the math before I continued reading.... FML lol.

Still an excellent deal. Not very far off on standards and the wire looks to be silver tinned.

I might order two more spools lol.

I got two spools of the DIYMA 0ga already, so 100ft, then the 175ft of the FA I just ordered. Another silver and red should do.

Thanks for the vid ANT. Any self respecting bass-head with half a brain can tell that the wire is of legitimate gauge and content. Very nice wire for the price. What is it; $1.99 per foot? That's hella-cheap for 2/0 OFC. I'm doing a lower power (+/-1500 rms) daily set-up. So I've got some OFC 1/0 from the Astro van under my workbench that will suffice for the upcoming build. Otherwise, I'd put in an order for sure. This wire should sell fast without a whole lot of unnecessary banter.

Still cheaper than ofc welding wire...

So lets see.... Save everyone the time.

(24.2+24.44+24.25+24.39+24.22)/5 = 24.3 (average group weight)

24.3 x 7 (total strands) = 170.1
170.1 g = .375 pounds
1/0 AWG = .319434 pounds per ft
2/0 AWG = .4028 pounds per ft

11 7/8 ft of 2/0 by AWG standards = .3986 pounds
11 7/8 ft of FA 2/0 = .375 pounds
