Re: aeroported box for my new Z.V3 12s

OK cool. I'm not the best at designing these things. I can build them if I have a cut sheet and dimensions. Thanks for replying

Re: aeroported box for my new Z.V3 12s

Yeah pro knows his sundown. The port would definitely be to large and act kinda like a giant hole in the box. I'd say more like 3 cubes with a single 6 inch aero tuned to your liking.

Re: aeroported box for my new Z.V3 12s

I just read pros response to your other thread and it sounds like he may think this box may be a ill to big and to big of port area id listen to him on the said subs.

You literally asked for it by not trying to head it off. Glad your enjoying them. Sundown makes a hell of a sub.

Re: aeroported box for my new Z.V3 12s

ok so i got everything in and playing. First off the zss are laughing at only 1 bc2k, that being said they sound alot better than the other box with the psi subs in such that it is no where near as peaky and they just sound way better. i am sure the box has some to do with that. they also get way lower and is louder even tho its tuned way lower and is same amount of power. mabye on the higher notes obviously it was a touch louder before, but i am very happy with the setup. on a side note now that i finally have a volt meter set up i am very happy to see that on full tilt i am still atleast 14.6 when warm. very pleased about that. so i got a little tweaking to do with ssf and such but they just need to break in for a lil bit as the zss i got are stiff. so just a lil update on this deal... p.s. i can hear it now pics or vids!!!!!!!!1 just gimme a lil time you know how i am lol. also need for the damn weather round here to pretend like its spring atleast..

Re: aeroported box for my new Z.V3 12s

ok pro i used this One 16 5oz Can of Duplicolor Black Truck Bed Coating for Pickup Trucks | eBay but i only paid like 8 or 9 bucks a can at advanced auto idk why they are so expensive here. Also it does dry nice and thin actually so thin dont try to get away with it covering any sanding oops's on a enclosure lol. But i love this product and the cans go far not like spray paint or anything as i only really needed 2 cans to do what i needed for my enclosure. so thumbs up from me and i would recommend it to anyone who is considering using a "Bedliner spray". My little review i guess...
