Re: Jeep, IA, PB, Mud?

I'm getting it tomorrow and I have a red top that is resting at 11v so I am going to see how it does on that. I also have a lead acid interstate that's resting at 12.1.

Re: Jeep, IA, PB, Mud?

Ok with the pillars angled the way they are, they only stick out 2.75'' from the factory pillar so they aren't that made at all.

Re: Jeep, IA, PB, Mud?

Really fast volt meter install. I am going to pull it out and redo the top so it's flat and then spray it with texture to match the console.

Ugh hate loom. The mesh loom may be better to work with though.

Re: Jeep, IA, PB, Mud?

Still need to clean up the wiring but I used to charge at 13.9 and drop to 10.8 full tilt. Now I'm charging at 15 and dropping to 14.94 full tilt at idle!

Re: Jeep, IA, PB, Mud?

I honestly don't remember. They could have told me but I was so excited about ordering the alt I wasn't really paying attention. I sent them an email anyways. Maybe this isn't something they've encountered before and it will help out the next guy.

Re: Jeep, IA, PB, Mud?

Got my alternator in today took about 2 hours and ended up costing me a little extra since the factory bracket did not fit the alternator.
