thats good thanks cuz i plan on getin skyhigh 2/0 cca for my big 3 and frm my batts 2 my amps. and then welding cable 2/0 frm front battery to battery bank

here's my general rule of thumb for wire requirements front to back runs based on 20 ft runs. amperage is the amount of alt power you have.

100a ofc 1/0 75a cca 1/0
125a ofc 2/0 100a cca 2/0
160a ofc 3/0
200a ofc 4/0

that's for 20ft runs. if you're shorter you can stretch it a bit. This is simply to keep voltage drop caused by wire at full load below .5v. If you push 1/0 ofc up to 350a some manufactures rate at you'll see a 1.25+v drop just from wire.
so 6 runs (3+ 3-) should do it if i use the cca

what did you decide on for wire?

1 the xspower d680
2 the Kinetik HC600
3 the napa commercial battery bat7236 is a 1140 ca 89.75 & batt7238 is 910 ca 82.95
im thinking of getting 6 of each. my amps will be hifi zrx3000 or the massvie n4. my alts are 220ah (125 at 800rmps). which of these battery would be the best to get. if i get the xs or kc ill put a bigger one under the hood xs3400 or kc2400. thanks

i have no clue if you can fit a 2nd alt or not, that's up to whoever is fabbing the bracket for it.

6-phase alts have KILLER idle output, its not the high rpm monster conventional alts people are used too.

normal 270a 6-phase alts will do 220A+ at idle. in the vid below the alt is still doing 100a+ at 250 rpm.
