hmmmm...those funky pups look like the ultimate subwoofer, but i just cant bring myself to that level of awesome haha. ill have to check out the e 12 for sure. thanks my dudes

I would rather buy an E-12 for 10 bucks more and then build my own box. 37Hz is a little higher than I would like personally. Its rated 500 but can take at least 600 so if you ever want to go a little louder without having to change your settup much a bigger amp is something you could do.

yeah sorry i was limited on the specs as well. its an excelon kfc xw12. im on a pretty low budget right now and my friend is selling the sub and a box that is 2 cubes net tuned at around 37hz for $100 total. I know there are better budget subs out there but this one is right in my face so its a little more tempting. A new sub of the same is $139.99 pretty much everywhere online. The car i have is a 1999 Volvo s70 and ive got an amp thatll do a true 300 watts or so. Im not goin for anything real loud just a lil extra bump. stock speakers are killin me haha

I would definitely take an OA or even a Sundown E series before I got one of those Kenwoods. I have never run one myself, but from looking at the specs of all the lines, an E series would outperform them all. A lot of the Kenwoods are quite cheap though, so the exact model would help.

If your looking for some yourself, not sure exactly what your asking, check out Obsidian Audio's new v3's. The 10's are only $99 plus ship each

and 600 RMS. Model really flat in a .5 cube ported at ~30 or can have some nice low end and .7 and ~30

i'm not familiar with the kenwood subs but i would think there is better available in the same price range.

need some opinions plz

So its been a long time since i have posted on here mainly because i havent had a system in quite some time. Anyways, my friend has a kenwood excelon 12 and i just wanted to hear some reviews on this sub. I dont know what model exactly i just know its an excelon. Any body run these or has run them? Thanks in advance for any help
