hell you would have been fine with HD's. I ran a AB500.1 to a tantric/atomic sub using a HD coil and thermally it handled it real well.

Ordered up 2-12" HDD d1s today. Let's see if they will beat the 148.6 @ 45HZ that my AQ hdc3s did! Lol

Sound good and be loud. Its sounding like the tantric HDDs r getting more votes than the AQ/SQ hdc4s!

Just throwing it out there but have you thought of PAP? Their 2k would match up nice and if you ran it with custom options it would be able to handle the AQ2200's.

I have all ready got a quote from Murphy. With shipping it right there in my budget. But I'm thinking the hdc4 will have more motor force. Due to the diameter of the motor. I think its a 10" motor.

Yes a ti is a must. Im hard on subs and need the extra cooling.

I bet it was the Ti basket that raised the price up. That's why they started producing the split 4 spoke baskets. I'd try getting a quote with the other basket and see what they offer you then. Unless you absolutely have to have that sexy Ti, which I wouldn't really blame you for.

I really have a hard time seeing a hd10 being 410. I mean I got two md10's shipped for not much more than that. Is there something special about your hd that you got quoted for that would raise the price?

indecisive on what 12 to get

I need a little help choosing what 12 to get for my application. Right now I'm looking at the AQ/SQ hdc4s, Tantric HDDs and if I can get a good deal on em s zv4s. the enclosure they will be going in is 5 cubic feet tune To 38 Hz. subs will be inverted. Power will be supplied by 2 Aq2200 @ .5 each. my budget is about $850 max.
