It's common for batteries to list 20 hr ratings not 10. Keep that in mind when comparing.

And I don't know where you got that last part but even with a dead short on a battery you will not drop to 0 volts immediately. Unless you mean over time. But you won't get to 0 before the battery has serious issues I'd imagine.

Anyways can't go wrong witb any nsb.

the ones in my signature the AQ hdc318's of course i will not be using the full 10k out of the amp.

i do not know but from what it seems their batteries seem to be what you could say over built. i am looking at buying 2 of the nsb-170's to power my stetsom 10k from what i have researched that is all i will need. i will have my 250 amp alt just for the stetsom 10k.

ya OP those batteries are a whole other animal. If you can find them for a good price do it.

Honestly if I were you I would go with northstar batteries. they can be found cheap and from the research I have did they are comparable to xs power if not better. one nsb170 I hear is comparable to 3 d3100's

Boss amps are cheap
Highfonics are affordable quality
Sundown is expensive

Its ok to go cheap on batteries as long as you get a warranty....the beautiful thing about getting batteries at autozone or any other parts store if the warranty

Imo batteries aren't something you want to cheap out on. Northstar batteries is all I recommend. Shuriken performs well too.

to bad your not around my area iv got 2 brand new 75ah deka intimidators for sale...but yea if you cant find a C&D battery for good and cheap then yea deka intimidator duracell agm duralast platinum are all the same battery...made bye same manufacturer

Im going to buy two batteries for my system and wondering what's good?

Ive heard a lot of Sears Platinum. Also Duracell Agm line. Im guessing as long as its a decent size agm? No need to pay for the high priced Kinetik....
