Re: 2006 Mustang Build Log

Couple shots of the car at the show, the stereo was a big attraction and I ended up having to give quite a few demos.

More progress today, I've been having to work late though, so progress has been slow.

Re: 2006 Mustang Build Log

Enclosure is in, still need to get the amp rack in. I'm working on securing the enclosure in the vehicle right now. I don't need this ever coming loose in an accident lol.

Re: 2006 Mustang Build Log

Yeah, but that 80 more hp requires more work and is a way more complicated set up. I have one turbo car now and I don't want that nightmare of piping on the Mustang lol besides, I love the whine of a supercharger.

procharger is nice and all but for the same money you can get a twin turbo kit and make 80 more hp than a procharger....check out sts turbo's....they are rear mounted and take the place of your mufflers

Re: 2006 Mustang Build Log

It's a lot less than what's under the hood lol every piece in there was replaced or covered in CF. It goes with the black without too much contrast or being too over the top. I like to keep it looking simple and clean.

Re: 2006 Mustang Build Log

Got the panel all finished. I did some prep work on how I'm bolting the enclosure to the chassis, but didn't take any pictures.

Subs arrive tomorrow, all the new components (3 sets) arrive Tuesday. It's going to be a busy weekend!

Re: 2006 Mustang Build Log

Got the distro block panel installed and some of the wiring in. I'm pretty happy with the result, nice and simple. I'm trying to keep this install pretty basic, I don't want anything over the top.

(Sorry for the photos being hard to see, the sun was right behind me and there wasn't much I could do)

And here's the wiring from all the speakers in the front that I'm trying to clean up. I'm labeling all the ends with the SHCA labeled shrinks.
