well i assume you live in a part of the USA that doesnt have alot of people with bump....around here 50% of the cars have aftermarket subs in the trunk....and alot of them are cops..lol so sound tickets are few and far between here

Finally got my first ticket.... Rolled past what looked like a cop convention lol... Two traffic cops and a lieutenant sittin by a grocery store.

Not mad at all tho I was in the wrong.

Ok so this is what I did today so far. I noticed air coming out from my back door handles so I went and sealed off the door as much as I could with the damp pro I had lying around.

And here's a shot of the carpeted blocks instead of the bricks and the new speaker wire/terminals. Looks a lot cleaner:

Air still comes out the door handle a little bit. It has to be from the hole where the lock thing is on top of the door...

I played on it a lot yesterday after giving it about 5 hours to dry and since at max volume it still moves I'm thinking yeah the glue didn't hold. I'm thinking just put threaded rod through it is easier. One through the face, one through the front to back, one through side to side. That way I'll know for sure that the box is not moving lol.

You should have screwed that dowel rod in and how long did you let that glue dry?...if you didn't let it dry overnight you prolly pulled that brace loose bro

Yeah I usually measure 5 times before I cut lol but I was just caught in a bad situation and tried to wing it. Came out good in the end.

I braced my box and deadened my driver's side front door (rain caught me so I couldn't do the other one).

Ok I carpeted two of the 4 blocks I got cut at Home Depot yesterday. Here is a vid:

And I looked at the speaker wire I am using and it is 14 gauge schoche or however it is spelled. Lol.

its all about conducting power bro...get better speaker wire and solid terminals...that speaker wire isnt 10 guage bro more like 14 guage...lol just get ya some 8 guage ring terminals and some good ofc 8 guage and use that as speaker wire...cuz you will have 3k to transfer remember

The bolt terminals have bolts on the other end so I don't think any air is leaving that way.

I just added a second ground and no difference in voltage drop but for some reason it sounds louder... idk.

The first thing I would do is make the speaker connects to the box much better all. Your power is going through the tiny section of that ring terminal that that bolt is actually touching. That little section that the ring term is actually touching is almost like a fuse where it can only absorb so much power through it. And if that is supposed to be ten ga speaker wire it's small for that get sat stinger. 10ga power and ground wire or so for that. At the very least clamp them ring terminals between some washers.

I haven't clamped my amp since the new alt but I will some time today. It clamped 898 watts at 40hz raising my 1 ohm to 3.85 ohms on my stock alternator.

Before I clamp again I am gonna do a run of 1/0 CCA from the front battery negative to the back battery negative. Maybe I can maintain a 14.9!

Based's Build Log (03 F150 4 15's)

So I finally had a day where I felt like starting my build log...

Currently I have 4 OA 15 V3's. Dual 2 ohms wired down to 1 ohm going into a Taramps HD3k 1 Ohm. Running a 320a Singer Alternator and one Kinetic HC2000 in the back. All wire is SHCA OFC 1/0 except for up front but that will change in a few weeks.
