Did two runs of 0 gauge just in case. Probably don't even need it.

Re: L-K-W-B's Build Log

hey guys! I cant believe I still remember my password lol. A lot of changes since about two years ago. I'm truly not a little kid anymore but still am at heart! I've actually gotten back into the audio some since a few years ago. I've got 2000 Honda Cr-v and I bought another set of 12's from a guy some months back. So now I have 5 OA v3's, and I will be using 4 in there now. Sold the sundown, I have 2 Shark Audio 3500's. 1 for each pair at 2 ohm. Apex 200a alternator, annnddd plenty of 0 gauge ran from the bottom of the car lol. I will box pics soon. The box should be done this weekend hopefully.

Re: L-K-W-B's Build Log

I also have a second car now. 97 Acura Integra SE with a Japanese front end. B16a motor, 5 speed LS transmisson, and its a piece of ****.

It came with a pioneer double din when I got it, and I'll probably put one of the Obsidian's in the Integra.

Re: L-K-W-B's Build Log

Time for a small mini update for meh. Bought a double din for the Accord. I love it

Installing it was like the worst thing ever. But, of course it was worth it in the end. I'll have to post a picture of that later.

Re: L-K-W-B's Build Log

My voltage stays at 14. Too bad I don't have the amps from the alt to back it up tho. But good enough for my set-up for sure.

Re: L-K-W-B's Build Log

I'm actually going to pull this last chip off so I can have better clearence inside the clock because the clamps will be putting a good amount of pressure on the screen, then I'll wire it to the battery and put it back in FOR GOOD. It was extremely hard to get out without scratching the dash.

Re: L-K-W-B's Build Log

Thank you! JB weld is what is holding it in place. Regular glue would have worked, but I couldn't find any, and this stuff is beyond strong. Lol

Re: L-K-W-B's Build Log

Latest mod I've done is turned my factory clock into a volt meter. I took out the guts of the clock (because the clock stopped working), and I ordered a small screen that reads voltage from eBay for like a $1.50, and yes it took about 3 weeks to come.

Came with a signal wire, a positive wire, and a ground. I'm going to run the signal off the battery, and leave the positive and negative off the clock wires. My voltage actually reads a different voltage directly by the battery.

Nooooo no race car for. Lol. I want my racecar to be a 93 Sentra Se-R. Which was my first car. My accord will just be a regular car.

Re: L-K-W-B's Build Log

I've honestly started growing out of my audio phase. Like installing my 3rd 12" will be the biggest stereo I feel like going too. Possibly something smaller in the future. But as of now the last thing I've been worried about it the stereo. I need stuff done to the car, and also wanna do stuff. You can see the car looks different from before.

I'll do a test and see. I haven't seen any residue by the window, and I planned on changing my tailights and those come with new gaskets with them. I'm really thinking it's the antenna tho because I've mostly spotted the wet spots by where it is. But I'll figure it out. I have too
