Well it plays lol, I will say so far the lithium it's tits full tilt 7k at 1 ohm while driving I'm dropping a tenth or two at most. Not sure on numbers (don't think it's a 50) really didn't play it long will probably still my meter on the windshield on the way to work set it on peak hold and see what I come up with and go from there. Definitely need some bus bars for the lithium it was a pain to wire up.

Yeah Lithium Juicebox battery, it weighs 30 pounds and should support around 10k rms.

I think it will flop because there isn't a ton of room for air to glow from the trunk to the cabin as the box is large we will see I guess.

Re: The Grand Prix Rebuild nkrell11

Well I'm getting closer however I'm feeling like this is going to come out as a flop idk why. Anyhow onto pictures.

Got my subs mounted and wired up my Ohmega switch even have it in what I feel is an awesome spot.

Mounted my amp to my back seat the white strips are wood wrapped in suede they turned out ok I guess but the work well since my split seat now moves as a unit and everything is solid.

Last but not least my lithium finally came however I would think if you spent $1500 on a battery they'd give you a sticker for your window lol. Hopefully it performs well.

Re: The Grand Prix Rebuild nkrell11

Well I actually did something today nothing major but something which feels ok since this build has been stalled for a while now. Switched my gold ft1's for the black ft1's just because they look better in my opinion. I also figured out how to wire my Ohmega switch. The switch was giving me issues because my brain wasn't working right you could say. Also my lithium is done Kevin put the stickers on Friday so hopefully I'll have it next week. Tomorrow I hope to build a small box for my switch and get the subs in.

Re: The Grand Prix Rebuild nkrell11

Well I finished assembling my box last night. Sadly I'm at a standstill again as I have to wait for my Juicebox Lithium and Ohmega Switch . As of now not sure where I'll be mounting my amps either behind the box or on my back seat are the options. This is most likely the most well braced enclosure that I've built.

Not exactly sure it's 36 inches around and there is each 13/16 of wood between each cut so probably 30 plus. Lots of rewarding work in my opinion I love being unique.

Re: The Grand Prix Rebuild nkrell11

Thanks guys it's 10.75 in diameterdiameter, made a little progress on Saturday not a whole lot, on to the pictures. Got the bottom, left and back sides put together in the trunk. Hopefully I'll finish the rest next time I'm home.

Custom back plates for my N3 15's came from Audio Contraptions.

Installed.

Stained the box before taking it apart cherry on the box natural on the port.
Back of the port rounded over.

Re: The Grand Prix Rebuild nkrell11

Alright so it's been a while since I've had an update guess it's time for that. I'd been looking for a new vehicle but have yet to find one so I've began to do a build in the grand prix after all. 2 FI N3 15's built by Jeff Hulbert, going to be at 1 ohm on my 7k paid for half of a Juicebox Lithium last night will pay off the rest next week. Started building a box going to have to build inside the trunk but I put everything together outside to test fit etc. Going to make a port out of kerfed red oak was going to go sono tube but I don't like the way they look and they seem kind of flimsy and uninformed.

Re: The Grand Prix Rebuild nkrell11

Nope I put a down payment on a Juicebox lithium now I just have to save the money to pay for one. That way I'll save a lot of weight.
