I'm having an issue where my system would be really loud but if i switch a few tracks, or turn my Car off my system wouldn't be as loud as it should be.. this issue is getting very annoying.... i noticed if i play my system at medium volume for 15 min SOMETIMES it would go back to normal.. If i turn my car off there would be times where it wouldn't play as loud as it should, but next time I turn my car off and on it would go back to normal...
prior to the autotek amp I had a garbage amp that would get loud without having to crank the stereo up to a higher volume... the autotek amp is much more powerful but I have to crank the volume very loud to get loud sub output
line output converter in the mix?
how is the head unit connected to the amp?
It is hooked up with a Line output converter my good sir... when i got the system hooked up for the FIRST time the shop used cheap wiring.. after blowing through a few amps i realized it was the cheap wiring causing the issue, so i went ahead and upgraded to good wiring (no problems after that), but i didn't upgrade the LOC converter.... could a cheap LOC converter cause this type of issue?
