I just installed my new system but it's clipping really fast. I have one 18" sound qubbed hdc3 and one creciendo bc2200 I just did the full big three with all 1/0 wire I am getting a new alt (300 amp) new head unit higher end pioneer. (Can't remeber the name ATM) I have 2 kinetic batters in the back powering the amp. I even have the gain about a quarter of the way up and no bass boost.

It says your clipping on bass remote?...and is it a bc2k...they don't make a 2200...and is your sub level on your head unit all the way up?

Your head unit could be clipping, which can cause everything else in line to clip.

2k and a 300a alt (assuming you are at recommended rpm) should have no issues with one battery in the rear.

300a x 14.4v = about 4400 W.

Basically double what your asking.
