Those 12's should be fine, i had one and I pushed mine a 1ohm with my 1206 and was fine, and I let my friend borrow that sub and he pushed it with his 2006D for about a month at 1ohm 2000 watts (not real world watts, prob about 1800) and the sub didnt blow, i was actually surprised that it took all that abuse. Great subs, and they pound pretty good as well for the price.

sorry but f*ck audiobahn! they can only just hit a certain small range of frequencies mostly high i have yet to see an audiobahn handle any lows and also that amp will prolly blow em up, even with its limited 1500w rms. i still think if your running your subs ported you wont have them that long. but not trying to flame on your stuff since for budget that set up should make some decent noise so bump on a halfway decent setup and once you get it all together make us a vid to show those lil turds in action

I had that Speaker and it hit the lows awesome and stayed loud, and it did all of this in a prefab box. I was surprised with the performance of the speaker, being on how cheap it is. I am thinking about buying another one just to mess around with for a cheap setup for my g/f's car, or I might get a 15 for my Car (not as a everyday setup, just for fun type of setup to see what I can hit with that speaker in a good box.)

My friend had a couple of audiobahn eternals 12's in a ported box with a alpine 1000 on each one, now the subs are rated at 1100wrms and the amps are 1070, so you would think they would do good together, O HELL NO, they were good for about 15-20 min and they were done, now he bought two of my memphis 12" m3's, same amps, same gain, same box, better head unit, and they dont even get warm and they hit 3x harder(kinda) and there only rated at 400rms-800max, MEMPHIS vs. AUDIOBAHN=AND THE WINNER IS MEMPHIS WITH A K.0.

lol that's more than likely because the audiobahn's are hopelessly over rated and the memphis must be under rated. Or maybe the amp just wasn't outputting as it should've. A bit confusing really...
btw any more detailed reviews on the brutus? make a vid when u've got it installed pls =]
I have 2 of the bxi2005D's. sam amp older model..... They knock the hell outta my 2- 12" solo x's.. Never get hot.... never cuts off... I've heard that the 2006D are supposed to be better than my 2005d's.... IDK.... The do me great. Hope this helps...

I had a bxi1606 and a Thor XXV, both great amps, never got hot and pounded the heck out of my RE's. I replaced the bxi1606 with an RD audio 1750.1 thinkin it would put the hifonics to shame, but the only thing different is the sound is a little cleaner.

I just bought the BXi2010D, although its a good amp for the money I doubt its putting its rated power out. I have it running 2 Type R 1022D's @ 2 ohms and I don't think im getting 1300 watts rms. But for the price its a great amp, so your 2006 is a good amp for the $$
