the hifonics square may sound the same as the kicker but, the weakest part on any square is the corners, and kicker has pretty much solved that issue...didnt completly fix it, but almost. The hifonics on the other hand looks like they didnt even attempt to help the corners even with more xmax? just doesnt seem appealing to me

egh, still wouldn't trust it(i wont touch any square anyways) but i will say i like there amps. the guy in the review says "I still think that hifonics stuff has to much blingy showyness". but i would much rather have that blingy look than a pipe going down my amp

I only like the square for the output .... i prefer round myself as long as its powered by a good HiFonics amp and not a pipe....lolz

also i looked it up kicker l5 has 15.2 mm xmax and the hifonics has 15 mm

also something i dont understand about squares. they have more sd i know that. but they require more airspace. ex. the l7 wants 3.25 cubes for a 12" why wouldn't someone just get something like T3 Audio in a 15"? it requires 2.5 cubes... thats less airspace for a 15... someone wanna explain to me this?

this is my arguement also, yes you may be able to stuff more sd into a smaller package, but you still need a ginormous box for that weak motored cone ok im done with my rant
