got it installed and i hooked up a relay to bypass the brake protection, so far this head unit works great, ipod plays good and switches tracks VERY fast, just as fast as a cd.
dvd loads fast and plays flawlessly, tested with xmen =P sh*t sounds awesome with the great sound.
the screen tilts upward to see the screen better if needed, it tilts more than i expected and thats good. the color options it has for the buttons is crazy, any and all colors are selectable.
as said in the first post tomorrow ill play with it more and get it tuned right.

coulda done a toggled ground for the parking brake but how did you use the relay?
only thing it didnt come with that i would of liked to had is the usb for ipod to play video, it requires a different usb cable, but it did come with a usb extension cord. (damn you pioneer you cheap bastards)
another thing i would of liked it to come with was the bt mic, for almost 400 you would think it would be inclucded. but o well i can live without it. it came with no actual ipod cord, but thats fine as i got like 10 of them bastards. but i did take a pic of everything it came with except the wiring to the stereo =P

Ironic, because I just installed a H/U last night and had to mess around with it so it would play DVD's while driving too.
I was out in the driveway last night fiddling with the same parking brake and reverse signal Wire on a Pioneer AVHp- 3200bt.
The parking brake wire is easy to bypass; just ground it. That's all the parking brake wire does; it senses the ground made from raising the lever. Once the lever is raised, the brake light pops on in the instrument cluster because it completes the circuit. Grounding it to the harness ground wire or ground spot does the same thing.
But the reverse signal wire needed to be activated by ground (after) the unit powers up. If it's hooked up before the unit powers up it will not allow DVD's to play while driving. So to get him working for a quick second, I just ran two wires out to the console. Once he turns the unit on he then connects the two wires and he can watch DVD's while driving.
He wants me to run a switch out to the console so he can flip it when watching DVD's. I'm still thinking of something I could do that's automated and hidden behind the H/U.

Yup, thanks guys. Sorry to butt in but you're talking about the very thing I'm having issues with. The vid how-to was exactly what I was thought needed to be done.
Thank you all very much.
