It basically raises the voltage of your preouts....

It basically raises the voltage of your preouts. You hook it up to your hu, then hook up the amp's rca's to that, which raises the preout voltage.

Correct meh if I am wrong.

I applied it on my trunk lid, trunk walls, rear deck and front doors (for midbass/speakers)

IMO it's the best stuff you can buy!
